1) Sir Bobby Robson could be considered as most successful English soccer coach.
2) There was no other England national team coach could ever match Sir Bobby Robson achievement in guiding England national team reach to semi final 1990 world cup. After disastrous performance in 1988 European cup in West Germany, Sir Bobby Robson managed to rectified the problem and instill strong character among it stars such Paul Gascoyne, Gary Lineker, Bryan Robson and David Platt as well good tactical approach has also contributed to that achievement.
3) It is believed, he has strong exposure outside of English premier league has given him a tactical knowledge when dealing with international competition. He has won many major trophies outside English premier league, where he used to guide Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven, FC Porto, Sporting Lisbon and many more.
4) The lack of good coach really giving a headache to English FA until it prompt English FA to choose foreign coach to guide England national soccer team.
5) Unfortunately, Sir Bobby Robson has passed away after long battle with lung cancer. It was, indeed such a great lost to English football.
6) Therefore I would like to take the opportunity to express my deepest condolence to Sir Bobby Robson family for the lost of their most beloved person.
